Consider…
We hear a story of God speaking to Elijah. But God doesn’t speak in the way Elijah expected. Sometimes God doesn’t speak to us in the ways we might expect either. That doesn’t mean we stop listening. It means we keep listening, and perhaps learn to listen differently.
This week, reflect on times you’ve known God’s still speaking voice in your life. How do you know it was God? Try spending some time listening this week to hear God.

Loving God, help us to be quiet enough that we can hear your still speaking voice. Help us to not confuse your voice with the loud voices of those all around us. Amen. |
