Consider… We continue our reading of the book of Job with chapter 23. The previous chapters have been an exchange between Job and his friends. Now, we get part of Job’s response. It’s part response to his friends, part lashing out at God.
This week, consider moments in your life when you could have related to Job in this passage. Perhaps there have been times when you feel like God is eluding you. Spend some time journaling, reflecting and talking with God about this.

in your love
and respond to your presence,
when your call cuts against
our expectations or plans.
Open us to compassion
that seeks your way of
love, justice, inclusion, and equality
for all.
