to welcome the Christ child,
born just a babe to ordinary young parents.
What will you do to prepare?
Beyond decorating the tree, baking cookies,
and tuning the radio to 24 hours a day Christmas music,
how will you prepare this Advent?
Cozy in as we consider the hope, peace, joy, and love of God this season.
Curl up with a warm beverage and read one scripture a day.
Pray
God of Hope,
bless our Advent journey,
strengthen our faith,
secure our bonds,
and enliven our imagination for a better world.
