With Moses, we step on Holy Ground and listen as God calls Moses to be an agent of God’s liberating justice. As Moses goes about his everyday life, far away from life in the palace, God sends a message through the most ordinary of things – a bush. God calls Moses to go back to Egypt and free the Israelites from slavery.

This week, Consider what seemingly ordinary things God might be using in your own life to call you to be part of God’s work of liberation.

You who speak into the mystery of the universe, creating life out of chaos, you invite us to look at our world with wonder, humility, and an unrelenting commitment to your liberating love. May our week bring us into an encounter with the holiness and the life of your justice. Amen.
