Consider… This week, we fully realize the gift of God among us. God is revealed in a baby born in a stable. Visitors come bearing gifts. These wise people are seekers looking far and wide and following not only their own traditions and stars but with the wisdom of the Hebrew Scriptures as their guide.
Think about one way you are seeking deeper meaning or understanding about your faith.
Ask your questions of someone who might answer them or search for the answers yourself,
take on another spiritual practice that fulfills your “seeker” urge.
Pray We praise you, Holy One,
for visions of your loving ways.
Stir our hope and
fill us with the courage
to imagine how we might journey
in the paths you illuminate with the
brilliance of the Christ child.
