Choir

UCUC has a long tradition of worship enhanced by music. The adult CHANCEL CHOIR, which averages about 20 members per service, sings from September to June with special music at Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter. Individual soloists and small groups support the summer services. A committed BELL CHOIR provides an added dimension to special occasions. Another strength is the number of fine instrumentalists who play both chamber music and enhance the Chancel Choir’s anthems.

Sunday School

We have members who volunteer to teach and monitor our children at Sunday School during part of our Sunday service time.  The children are given fun and other meaningful things to help them know about God in our lives.

There are many other ways that our members contribute both inside and outside of our immediate church community: prayers for those in need; baking for underprivileged children in San Diego; providing hygiene kits, clothing, and other needed items for the homeless and less fortunate.  Our entire congregation participates in different ways for our social concerns.
