UCUC will celebrate and honor the MOM (Military Outreach Ministry) moms at a baby shower & luncheon on Friday, June 21, 2019 at 1pm at the MOM office located at 4426 Harbinson Avenue, La Mesa.
This is a great opportunity to meet young enlisted moms-to-be and support these women who are far away from their families. San Diego Military Outreach Ministries (SDMOM) is a nondenominational national organization, whose mission it is to provide help with some basic needs, as well as holding events that enhance the quality of life for all military junior enlisted families (E-5 and below) who live in San Diego County.
Please plan to fill a new diaper bag or backpack with the following items:
Diapers (size 1) , Wipes, Bottles, Baby Lotion & Wash, Bibs, Blankets, Any other baby items you would like to include.
Please bring your filled diaper bag and place it in the red MOM barrel by Sunday, June 2, 2019. Plan to attend the baby shower and carpool to this very special event. Meet in the UCUC parking lot at 12:15pm on Friday, June 21, 2019. FYI – MOM is a 501©3 charity. If you wish to offer monetary support make your check payable to UCUC and write MOM on the memo line.
