What is Fair Trade & why does it matter?… Fair Trade is trade between companies in developed countries and producers in developing countries in which fair prices are paid to the producers. Supporters believe that fair trade is making a significant positive impact in the world, empowering small farmers around the world. Fair Trade is a way of doing business that ultimately aims to keep small farmers an active part of the world marketplace, and aims to empower consumers to make purchases that support their values.
