Salt and light – symbols of life
that call us to remember the importance
of God’s covenant with God’s people.
God’s laws preserves community (like salt),
and disciples show the message of God’s love to the world (like light).
THINK of someone who you would characterize
as being salt and light to the world.
What one thing might you do this week to emulate them?

Gracious God,
grant us eyes to see
your vision for your people.
Help us rise as a light,
as we delight in your commands.
