This week…

How long has it been since you last played on the playground?
Unless you regularly take your kids or grandkids, it’s probably been a while.
But something happens when we allow ourselves to play.
When we giggle and laugh. When we run and skip.
Even when we watch children play, our hearts become lighter,
hope seems to bloom,
the world seems brighter.

This week, UCUC is going to worship at
University Gardens Park – aka Dinosaur Park.
We will sing, we will pray, we will enjoy God’s creation.

Bring a chair, a picnic lunch, and a willingness to worship!
University Gardens Park is on the corner of Gullstrand and Governor.
We’ll gather by the play structure – which is completely accessible by sidewalk.
If you are able, please park on the street and save the parking lot spaces
for those for whom mobility is more limited.
There are restrooms and of course, kids are encouraged to come!

Pray
Holy God of laughter and play,
we thank you that you call us together for worship.
We thank you that you stir in us the ability
to worship in a variety of ways.
Help us to pay attention to you –
be it in the sanctuary,
or the park,
or the coffee shop,
or our workplace.
Amen.
