CCSA Annual Back to School Backpack Drive
Each year, CCSA assists low-income children with backpacks and essential school supplies. UCUC, as one of the church participants, has a goal this year to contribute 20 backpacks for children in grades K-9.
How can you help? Between Sunday, July 7th and Sunday, August, 18th, UCUC will collect filled backpacks. Please bring your filled backpack(s) to the narthex.
A list of supplies is below. You may decide on filling a backpack for K-2nd grade or 3rd-9th grade children. Please be mindful of the many sales of school supplies available during July and August. Have fun with this outreach project. It has been suggested that if you have children of your own that you take them shopping and have them select the back to school items for a less fortunate child in our community.
