Advent 3 – JOY – December 15th

Consider…
Mary sings at seeing how “the proud,”
“the powerful”
and the “rich” will be
“scattered … brought down … sent away empty.”
In this, Mary turns toward God in faith
and takes on the role of bringing liberation to the world.

Will we follow Mary’s example?

Light your HOPE and PEACE candles and ponder as the light flickers ….

God of justice,
you invite all
to join with Mary
in proclaiming your saving works.
May our hearts beat
with your heartbeat of justice.
